ABOUT

Milestone Living, LLC was founded by Nina Bailey, a dedicated advocate for housing as a fundamental human right. For Nina, affordable housing is more than just providing shelter—it’s about creating homes that offer safety, dignity, and opportunity. Milestone Living’s properties are designed to be places where families rebuild, children thrive, and individuals stabilize their lives, free from the fear of displacement.

Her professional journey of working in real estate and mortgage lending began in 1998, where she gained expertise in navigating down payment assistance programs and housing resources for low-income families. Alongside her career, she dedicated herself to extensive volunteer work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and domestic violence shelters. Through her work with Habitat for Humanity, she helped build homes for families in need, gaining an understanding of the tangible and emotional impact of stable housing. Volunteering at domestic violence shelters gave Nina firsthand experience in supporting survivors seeking safety, and she saw how critical housing stability is to rebuilding lives free from abuse.

Nina also worked with nonprofits addressing homelessness, where she gained insight into the mental health challenges and systemic barriers associated with housing insecurity. Her volunteer efforts extended to the March of Dimes, deepening her understanding of how housing directly affects family health and outcomes, including the rate of premature births. These experiences have profoundly shaped her mission and commitment to fostering dignity and growth through housing.

In 2021, Nina launched Milestone Living, LLC  as a housing solutions provider and for-profit partner to support local agencies in providing affordable housing that fosters dignity and growth. The company’s name reflects its purpose: celebrating each “milestone” that residents achieve on their journey from emergency shelter to stable, permanent housing. Today, Milestone Living serves individuals, families, and multi-generational households, offering safe and affordable housing solutions.

Milestone Living achieved a significant milestone in 2022 by completing its first property rehabilitation project. Through a partnership with the Clark County LEAPS program, the company collaborated with nonprofits to provide secure housing to vulnerable populations. By 2023, the rehabilitated property was fully occupied, offering stability to residents and helping over 20 families access employment, education, and self-sufficiency.

Looking ahead, Milestone Living is preparing to scale its impact by acquiring additional apartment buildings, with a goal of housing 100 families annually. The expansion will broaden its capacity to provide emergency housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing, ensuring that vulnerable families across Nevada have access to affordable, quality housing.

Nina Bailey’s leadership, fueled by her hands-on experience, professional expertise, and commitment to impacting local communities, drives Milestone Living’s vision forward. As the company grows, Nina remains focused on ensuring that every resident feels seen, supported, and empowered to achieve their milestones.
